I think I prefer Turner on a 1-2 year deal anyways. Move Riley to LF and grab someone like Puig to semi platoon with him and provide insurance in case Pache isn’t ready opening day.

Add some bench filler and BP values and call it a roster.

Man I wish the Braves would sign Ozuna and trade for Ramirez. That would make this team nearly complete imo.

Dodgers could still afford Turner if they wanted, but man they'd be massively over the luxury tax. Dodgers payroll right now is 234 million lol. Not sure who they're gonna try to shed, or they're just gonna say screw it and put it all in.
 
What about taking on AJ Pollock if the Dodgers ate some money on his deal?
 
Ozuna 70 percent to Rays per Mish, feels weird. If he's getting a 3-4 year deal, that just seems way out of the Rays way to do something like that. But hey, if they overpaid for him, what can you do.

Mish is the one that kept insisting the Braves were making outlandish offers for Realmuto when that trade was going down. Not against being used as a Leak for negotiating purposes.

That's what I'm thinking. Mish being used as a mouthpiece by player/agent in an attempt to drive up bidding.

Agreed. No way the Rays are offering Ozuna 3-4 years at an AAV of $20M.

Ozuna is at risk of going down the path towards not signing at all.

No reason they can't trade higher-paid guys like Kelly and Jansen and use Urias and/or Gonsolin in the pen exclusively if they want to sign Turner - attach a prospect to either and someone will take a big chunk of their money.

Pretty sure they're not worried about the luxury tax in the least.
