some of us will be happy to wave goodbye to all that nonsense
A lineup with Judge, Stanton, Machado, Harper, Sanchez and some of their young players?
Sheesh. Crown the damn Yanks.

Out of all the guys that I see on that list, honestly Pollock seems like the most likely. I don't see us really going after a SP in free agency, but if we did maybe someone like Corbin would make some sense. Still, I think it would be an indictment of the rebuild if we had to go the FA route to acquire a top pitcher. We have Gohara, Folty, Newcomb, Fried, Allard, Soroka, Wright, Teheran, and maybe Mccarthy all competing for a rotation spot next year. Then we have Wentz, Anderson, Wilson, Toussaint right behind them. If we can patch together a playoff caliber rotation out of that collection of arms, then something has probably gone really wrong. I think the areas of need for the next year or two will likely be 3rd, C, and OF. 3rd because I'm not sold on Riley. Catcher because Kurt and Tyler are pretty old and we don't know how long they can hold up with this level of production. And outfield because Nick will be gone and Tucker is probably more of a bench bat.

I like Pollock but I would like to see some right handed power on the team.
Several of us have been saying for a long time that if the Braves have to spend resources on SPs other than a 1 year fill in guy, the rebuild derailed so badly it doesn't matter who they add.
They need a rotation that can produce about 12-13 fWAR to be a Top 10 rotation. I have a high level of confidence that group of arms can get to that level.

At least nobody's in here soiling himself about Lucroy.
Many of you are going to be upset when the Yankees sign Harper and Machado and the Dodgers re-sign Kershaw.
