Looks Like Another Year Of B.J.

Really should not be shocked by this:

Unlikely #Braves trade B.J. before season; other teams don't want to pay any of $; ATL doesn't want to give away Gattis to get rid of B.J.

That's probably the best courses to take. He will have less years and cash commitment after this year and he couldn't possibly lower his value anymore.

#Braves hitting coach Kevin Seitzer will start workouts with B.J. in a few days. B.J. has expressed to Braves he will be diff. player in '15

There is no reason he can't be....he just has to want to be.

That would certainly be the best possible outcome. Hope it happens.

BJ is still an all world athlete (perhaps top 10 in all of MLB) who should be perfectly capable of hitting a baseball. I doubt he bounces back much at all, but there is no way his skills have declined to the point he is the worst player in the game.

Agreed 100%

at this point if he returned to what he was with the Rays it would just piss me off even more. Seitzer helped the Melk Dud so I guess the is some hope.

If he pulls it off, then I can get off of hitting coaches wasting time on the bench and collecting a paycheck.

I think we would all have more patience with BJ if he actually ran out a ground ball occasionally or played hard in the OF.

BJ and Fredi still here, Heyward already gone and Justin soon to follow.

MUKAKI REBUILD

Best case scenario is BJ is for him to be like Alex Rios.

Rios goes from being sub replacement level or a 4 WAR guy. Without an in between. It's uncanny.
