Lol, he shouldn’t have done it, but people are making WAY too big a deal about this. They act like it’s a constant thing with him and it’s literally happened twice in the two years he’s been in the majors. And now they’ve formed the narrative that he doesn’t play hard, which couldn’t be farther from the truth.

Chipper us fond of firing back at critical fans that they should be quiet because they weren't major leaguers. Chipper had 4 PAs before age 23. Tex didn't debut until he was 23.

Acuna is 21 and doing things those guys couldn't in their prime.

So to Chipper and Tex, you weren't star major leaguers at 21 so y'all don't know what it's like and should shut up.

If everyone else on the team had played as well in the series as Acuna did we wouldn't have an eight-page long thread dedicated to the offseason already.
 
On the list of playoff problems the Braves have, Acuna not running out that single off the wall ranks about #79.

The Braves had bigger problems in the series than Acuna not hustling that one at bat. These talking heads are just wanting to hear themselves talk.
