Marlins a favorite to land Shields

Stanton will see most of that contract.

I like Shields but he has alot of miles on his arm.

Bet you that by the end of the 2015 season. That list of 4 will be a list of 3 or 2.

I can see Kimbrel depending on the offer.

Simmons or Julio given his team-friendly contract would be stupid to trade.

So the edited version is:

John Hart has gotten rid of 2 of our 4 best players that the team didn't want to be here after 2015 and the one that was is a DH in the NL all in one offseason for injured pitching prospects.

Jesus christ, you and others act like tommy john is the death nail for players.

It's just like ACL injuries in football, so many players have it, it isnt a huge deal.

Umm, it's a problem. Sur egthe recovery rate from TJ is high, but it's an indicator of a deeper problem when a kid has TJ. Up next is either the ever dreadful second TJ, or shoulder issues. The list of successful second round TJ candidates is pretty much non-existent and those that do it are usually relievers (Moylan, Soria, Wilson) We'll see if Daniel Hudson can come back from his second with success.

Its like you simply have zero reading comprehension. Not just like poor, it's like zero.

Bob Nightengale

The #Padres, where James Shields makes his home, have to be considered favorites for his services. We will soon find out if they get him.

Oh so TJ means a player is boned?

Your boy Stras came back from it.

So i guess Harvey and Fernandez should retire since the surgery is so bad. NY and Mia should trade them while their stock is high.

I was trolling but how is TJ so bad.

Many pitchers come back from it no problem nowadays.

So how is the surgery so bad then?
