Matt Kemp to Dodgers!

What would be funny would be AA agreeing to pay $5 million to get Pederson and then turning around and releasing Kemp.

Only problem is that I think the Dodgers had more options to dump salary to get under the tax over what the Braves had to dump all of Kemps salary. I think the Braves were painted into a corner much more than the Dodgers. I get what Dave is saying.. I just don't know if we could have squeezed much more out of this trade.

I get it but I disagree with Dave. Your grade is fair.

The only thing I didn’t like about the trade was that it makes the Dodgers a big rival to sign a big free agent we might want.

Moving kemp without using young talent is huge for this team this year and next imo. To have a talented gm with that much flexibility is priceless.

Well you're completely missing the point. I guarantee some team will sign him for more than the league minimum.

Looks like we cleared enough salary to resign Matt Kemp to a league minimum contract to play LF.
