I geuss, But I don't think I've heard a "liberal" say that gun laws will be respected by criminals.

That's a bad example, as a gun free zone is just imposing an additional charge if someone is caught. Criminal or not.

My point is that it's not really reversible as it talks about something that the right actually believes. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think the left thinks gun free zones will keep criminals with guns out, but impose additional crimes for people who break said law.

I think gun free zones are dumb for the most part, again to me the correct thing is to make all gun crimes much more serious than crimes committed without a gun.
