Because he’s decided to use his platform to be a social justice leader? He doesn’t want to be told to shut up and dribble, which is fine, but if he’s going to lecture us on human rights, his stances on China (or lack there of) are more than fair game. Especially if he’s going to go out of his way to do things like call Daryl Morey “misinformed” or “uneducated” on the topic.

Didn't search hard enough, Samsung, ASUS, LG and Sony are all made in Korea, Taiwan, Korea, and Japan respectively.

If you want to reduce China's impact, pull towards more automation. When we can 3d print and assemble boards and microchips, we can kill our dependency on 3rd world nations.

Ahh you're right. I was looking for one made domestically, not specifically not made in China. I mixed that up.

The problem still is those phones contain parts made in china, thought that is expected to change as china's labor prices are shooting up and people are sliding production to Vietnam, INdonesia, India, etc.
