Because I have produced evidence before. You've chosen to ignore it. I'm not gonna keep having the same debate with you in a variety of threads. I'm not going to talk to a brick wall.

If I recall correctly your "evidence" was something about movie stars and models.

Some good evidence that suggests that women are discriminated against in this country in the year 2016... keep it coming folks.

Like most other things you have proven that if it hasn't personally effected you, well, it just must not be.

Hope this doesn't happen
but if I were you I would withhold judgement of gender equality until your fiance graduates med school and finds herself in a contract dispute where she is offered less than an equally qualified male because you know ... unreliable future or physical stamina or temperament or she yells too loud. Or, she is judged walking in a room based on the length of her skirt or she wears heels or flats

This is culturally ingrained --- but hey, if it doesn't quantify it doesn't justify
right?

This simply doesn't happen... the data disputes every which way you look at it... but keep spouting the lie

"the data" ??

Are you saying that gender discrimination does not exist ?

How do you possibly have data that counters bias ?

How do you quantify an eye roll or a "nod and a wink"

Your naivete is adorable

When you say "how do you possibly have data that counters bias," what quantitative data are you referring to that represents "bias"?

How can there be a debate when your position is "well, we all know there are eye rolls and winks..."?

Uh, well your point earlier was that women get paid less than men when comparing apples to apples... the data doesn't support that.

I know math is hard for you though

I know math is hard for you though

why you gotta be this way ? Everyone here has been respectful towards you - dismissive perhaps - but name calling . Subtlety not your strong suit huh ?

you gave no math to figure only posted a random ill informed sentence implying you actually had data to deny a nuanced social abstraction while telling me to read / look up said data
Read or do math, which is it? What is next? You challenge someone to a IQ Test ala Trump v the Mayor of London.

Does your fiance know you spout such nonsense?
Or ...

the data doesn't support that.

below one example that draws a defining picture
you can also look up TV revenue based viewer ship and stadium attendance.

Even worse, the 16 men’s teams that were knocked out in the first round of the 2014 World Cup each received $8 million, and the 11th-place U.S. men’s team took home $9 million. That’s right the American women’s team won less than one-fourth what the American men earned, and the poorer pay went to the squad that was crowned champions, not the team that failed to come anywhere near reaching the finals. Overall, the total payout for the women’s World Cup was $15 million—less than 3% of the $538 million total earnings from the men’s side.

Above Z suggested Googling gender disparity
wouldn't hurt

If you're suggesting that women play professional sports at the same level of men, then I don't know what to tell you...

Also - I'm not saying you can't find single examples where women make less than men (or vice versa)... but on the whole, the gap is somewhere like 3% different.

You have proven time and time again that math is difficult for you.

Whether it's health care premiums, not understanding why housing loans have lower interest than education loans, not understand how to pay for your freebies, or supposed pay gap disparities... if it involves numbers, I assume I'm talking to a 4th grader
