Anyway, for context, Trump starts his presidency popularity-wise around where George W. Bush was post-Katrina.

Trump will never be abover 50% because the left despises him more than any heat Obama ever got.

needling aside I agree, he never will get to 50% but my thinking is because the policies he advocates will never rise to 50%

Some are predicting this is his ceiling
But, we've all heard about Trump's ceiling before

I don't see he point in pointing out how unpopular Trump is. If Hillary won do you honestly think there would not be just as much bitching? People act like if Hillary won the right would have just laid down and accepted it. Hillary is just as polarizing as Trump. If she won she won we would probably be talking about impeachment hearings right now.

I find it interesting how Trump, more than any public figure in my lifetime, reacts to both popularity and unpopularity.

Like I said earlier people have been talking about trumps ceiling for not months but years now -- and he keeps overcoming

How ?
That to me is what makes this whole thing so fascinating

Results over presentation while politicians are just the opposite.

That's the rub thethe, he has no results.
The history is he gets the business loan but the business tanks. All of the business'

He has never accomplished anything except winning this election

Perhaps your using the right terms but, have it backwards.
Lots of presentation ...

So it looks like Obamacare is about as popular as Trump is... which you just made a point about how unpopular he is

That's the argument against trump and he still is incredibly wealthy and we'll known. He has been able to parlay that success into winning the most difficult contest in the world.

He is all about results over presentation.

Is he wealthy ?

Parlay that notoriety rather than success -- Trump U, Trump Steaks,Trump Airline, Atlantic City etc etc etc.

He is one helluva salesman --

Again, is he wealthy ?
We really don't know how successful he is --- do we ?

Yes. Donald Trump is wealthy.

Forbes says $3.7 billion. Even if he was worth $50 million he'd be wealthy. Don't be absurd.

I know it's hard to do when you bathe yourself in yellow journalism daily, but sometimes logical thinking is a healthy thing.

I honestly didn't think it was worth responding to questions over his wealth. Not sure how that is in debate.

It's hard to have a discussion with people who genuinely believe that Trump is a Russian patsy or that we're in the midst of a "constitutional crisis".

They live in their own reality - to borrow from Hillary.

Sour grapes is one thing, but this is a whole other ballgame.

Prove he is worth 50 cents

I'm not really sure what that has to do with what I wrote, but it's an interesting reminder about the power of words.

Is an "act of terror" the same as an "act of terrorism" to you?
