Meme & Quote Thread

yeah.. I had never heard of this probably fake "Wharton School of Business" Trump graduated from before. It's probably some fly by night community college.

And look at all the accomplishments of Obama prior to election... Community organizer, editor of a law review and he's capable of talking to two different worlds; white democrats and black democrats.

And what has Trump done? Built a multi-billion dollar international business empire? Any white person can do that. It's not even worth mentioning.

Being the son of a well-connected multi-millionaire probably conferred some advantages on the young man that the son of an absent Kenyan academic probably missed out on, no?

And, thethe, since the magical power of "being black" so dramatically helped Obama get elected, perhaps you could do me the courtesy of explaining why a black person had previously never come close to a major party's nomination.

Seriously, this is just petty to the extreme. Trump is a successful businessman—with some caveats, yes?—and let's give him credit where credit is due. Not just any rich white guy can become president of the United States. But do you think that the barriers to entry of same are greater for a wealthy and connected white guy—like Trump, like Bush 43 and Bush 41—or for someone like young Barry Obama? To deny that he got to where he did because he was anything less than exceptional—a fricking unicorn, really—is just...small.

to be a successful businessman, you first have to be a successful businessman

he isn't

born on 3rd base and acts like he hit a triple.

it's been reported he would have more money if he didn't do any of his business deals and just let the money make money. that isn't a sign of a successful businessman

You don't think being black earned him votes that a white person of his similar experience would have gotten? I'm not even saying it's a bad thing and I'm sorry if it came across that way.

And also i never once said that being black is the only reason Obama got elected. He obviously possess numerous positive traits that make him appealing to Americans (which is why I voted for him in 2008). He just turned out to be a horrible president.

I'm pointing out the ridiculousness of the quote by the black dude that 57 posted. It's getting so old. I don't enjoy defending Trump but the left has gone so crazy I basically have to in order to keep things in reality

I thought the point spoke more to race in America than specifically this election.
But hey, if the shoe fits ...

There is no denying an AA has to do more to get the same. That is documented.

Call me when an AA's demand Trumps birth certificate to decide whether he is in fact a "legitimate President"
Manchurian ??

Keep me posted on those alleged Russian payments to Trump's one time campaign manager being investigated as well.
Really curious to see how your curiosity works. Whether it does encompass all forms of corruption or if it is limited to all things Clinton
