Actually I never heard the joke. I am purposely not getting all that involved in the day to day BS that is our nation's government. This isn't new nor is it tied to just one party, but I have just gotten seriously burned out by the whole process so I only swoop in and out now and then and see what new nonsense is floating around.

So was it the joke about the new German microwave oven? It's a really really really bad one, but about the only German one I can think of right off.

Ouch! That one is bad too. I heard this one back when I was a teenager and as terrible as it is it's one I haven't been able to get rid of, kinda like those crappy songs or tunes that once you hear them you just can't flush them out of your memory.
