1. The federal government did not end slavery. If making slavery illegal is ending slavery then wasnt it started when the federal government declared it legal?
2. The federal government did not end slavery they made it illegal. That only works if you have people who are willing to enforce it. As soon as the northern army left the South they passed a whole bunch of laws designed to make just about anything a black man did illegal. Illegal to learn to read or write. Illegal to own a gun. Illegal to unemployed. Seriously, they had to carry around proof that they were working at all times or would be in violation of the vagrancy laws. Then they came up with a new concept, convict leasing which means they sell a prisoner to a plantation who is then force to work as a slave. This is still going on today just under a new name. Now its the war on drugs. The head of the commission to study wether pot should be illegal literally said we need marijuana prohibition because it makes white women have sex with negroes. Its not accident that medical marijuana is supported by 97% of the country and recreational marijuana by 60% of the country yet the federal government has steadfastly refused to budge an inch. The crooks like Hillary say "it needs more study" as an excuse why she wont remove restrictions that would make it legal to do those studies.
3. Slavery is totally still legal. There is an exception for people who have committed crimes. Thus why the justice system is just a thinly veiled slavery program. There are more black people in prison today than there were slaves at the time of the civil war. My home states prisons are 66% black. 1 out of 3 black men are either in prison, on probation, or are on parole. This isnt an accident. Its the way the system was designed.
4. Here is the Sheriff of Cado county literally saying that Louisiana, the state with the highest incarceration rate in the known world, is erring in judgement by letting a few prisoners go a few months early because they need those good prisoners to wash their car and cook their meals to keep costs down. I am sure its just a coincidence the 3 Sheriffs right behind him are black.
The federal government may have made it illegal for me to own a slave but they in term legalized it for themselves and wrote it such that they can make up the rules as to what reason they can enslave someone and government employees get to be the judge in trials and the government has invested heavy propoganda to make the public believe that their slave patrolers(now know as police) are considered paragons of virtue whose integrity is beyond reproach no matter how many cops are caught lying and committing violent crimes.
