I don't think its ever "alarmist" to clean our **** up and cut out excesses (the government would be a good start but....)

The entrance to my neighborhood has new litter on it every single day where it meets the public road. People are ****ty. I clean it up, they throw it out the next night. No one really cares unless you are invested in it.

I agree with your example. I recycle. I don't litter.

When I say alarmist I'm talking about the people that say the world is going to end because of the greedy capitalists in the Western World.

Their solution is always to give government more power and restrict additional human liberty.

Of course it's hilarious. The massive, real world deployment of the vaccine has shown it is extremely safe and does a very good job preventing severe illness. This gives it way more data than most drugs that get FDA approval.
