Nice to see Minter have another good game. If he can get straightened out he would be a huge addition to an improving bullpen. Jackson, Newcomb, Touki, Webb, good Minter is a solid base to work off.

A couple things to note about Demeritte:

1) 2019 BABIP stands at .371. The previous two seasons in AA he had BABIPs of .293 and .284. Maybe the hitting environment in AA is a bit tougher. Maybe he was a little unlucky in 2017 and 2018. But almost surely he has been enjoying significant BABIP luck in 2019.

2) K rate this year is 26%. K rate the prior two years in AA were 26% and 28%. All of this translates to a K rate around 30% in the majors. You need to hit with a fair amount of power or bring something else to the plate (defense, strong OBP, etc) to offset that sort of K rate.

3) He is 24, which is neither old nor young for AAA. Although I am a skeptic, some of the improvement this year is probably real and there could be more improvement to come. I would add him to the 40 man this off-season.
