The Braves have signed 28-year-old right-hander Jonathan Aro to a minor league deal and assigned him to Mississippi.
Aro, a Dominican native, spent 2018 with the Padres' Class AAA team and went 6-1 for Seattle's Class AAA club in 2017.
Aro pitched in five games for the Red Sox in 2015 and a single game for Seattle in 2016.
He threw two perfect innings in his Braves' debut on Satuday.

Hayden Deal with a nice start for Florida. Don't know that much about him. Signed as a NDFA in 2017 out of Presbyterian College (NC). Big guy, but from the snippets I read, it doesn't sound as though he's got a big fastball. Still and all, he's done well since signing although he's playing against competition considerably younger than he is. Could be someone to watch.
