I stan this farm system
We really need Lodise to have a big year so we have a possible answer for next year when Kim leaves.
Good start to the year for Guanipa.
This is not remotely correct. He has the upside of a fringe starter. Just setting yourself up for disappointment expecting him to be a real option at SS.
Agreed. He's way more than a fringe starter. This is not remotely correct.
His floor is a bench player. His ceiling is a 3ish WAR SS. His profile is pretty similar to guys like Willy Adams, CJ Arbams, or (my favorite comp) Ian Desmond. Even Swanson is a good comp as a hitter, though it's unlikely Lodise will be the defender that Swanson is (though few are).
Those guys are not elite by any means, but they are solid starting SSs.

Well we gonna have to agree to disagree on this one. His hit tool is significantly worse and I question if he will even walk enough to get to a .300 OBP. I see him as a .230 average .290 OBP with 15 homers and 15 SB with plus defense and versatility to play almost anywhere. Heres what Fangraphs says about him.
Reconciling it all, Lodise projects as a solid utility player, with a chance for better if he gets to more power than projected or if he can find a way to make more contact. His glove at short gives him a high floor if he makes any contact at all, and he looks like a guy who could play a long time in some kind of reserve role.
No I understand just fine. I think his floor is AAA. with a few cups of coffee in the majors. He doesnt have enough contact ability to make his power valuable enough. He doesnt walk enough to make up for his abysmal contact skills.
His floor is not an mlb player. This is not remotely correct.
