Minor League Thread Part Deux

Tornes 3-4 again today. That kid can hit
Doesn't even do justice. His exit velo is crazy for a16 year old. I've been told about his camp..I've seen his bat. He had more lift than you know. The ball jumped off his bat. He's up there swinging. Gonna have too tone his aggressiveness down as he moves up but jeez..at 16...he's impressive.

You think he'll get promoted any this year?

The Braves are vehemently against promoting DSL players stateside their first year. Diego may change that, but it's probably not in the cards. That said, he's the first position player in forever to even garner the thought. Kinda backwards the Braves don't push hitters like they do pitchers...lol. Then again...what hitter has garnered that recently?

IMHO, Diego hasn't passed Perdomo, but it won't be long. I saw Perdomo recently and he's no longer just using his tools. He's guessing more. Trying to be selective more. Any athlete that gets instruction starts thinking about what to do more. That's Perdomo. He looks the part ..but the adjustments they have him doing having taken yet....gonna be interesting to see the translation. That said...Diego is the best looking hitter since..Perdomo. (They both swing if it's a country mile near the zone).

He won't make it to the game tonight. If they knew they were calling him up, they knew it pregame unless someone got hurt stretching out or something in NY. My guess is trade

It definitely could be a trade. I was playing about Duran but there is a good chance he gets traded and several places are linking us to him.
