Ethan Bagwell with a really nice season debut: 6 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 6 K.

Our sixth rounder from 2024 out of high school, he’s only 20 years old. He had ok numbers last year but didn’t miss enough bats. Hopefully this is a sign of that changing.

I really hope Fuentes can continue to develop his secondaries, but dude is at minimum going to be a really damn good high-leverage reliever.

That fastball just sizzles. Looked like the splitter on the other strikeouts. It looked good too. It should play up because his FB is so good. I just feel ramping him up this early is a mistake though. Rather he help us now while we treat him with kid gloves to up his workload without leading to injury.

Oh, absolutely. I'm saying his floor is a really good reliever. His ceiling is a great starter... with a little work. That's a huge thing.
