Especially considering we have graduated so many ROY level studs recently…

I’m really curious how they handle this with promotions. Southisene is 19 but first season of pro ball, so I wouldn’t be in a huge hurry to move him.

Hartman and Gil are also both 19. I’d be tempted to just play it slow with them since throwing 19 year olds into Double A could go poorly, but it’s hard to ask for much more from them. Ks aren’t out of line, both are walking plenty. It’s really impressive.

i've been starting to wonder about this myself

seems weird that so many batters are suddenly tearing the cover off the ball while all of the pitchers seem to have taken a big step back

i haven't looked at the rest of the league though

Yeah the offensive guys are going nuts this year. If it were the balls then every player would be doing the same thing. Whatever changes were made they worked.

Gil and Hartman with a cool 2 homers a piece today thus far as Rome is crushing it 15-3 in the 6th inning. Hartman now up to an absurd 12 homers. What is the ceiling for this guy who is fast as hell too? Gil is looking just so sexy too.

I don't want to put unfair expectations on the kid, but his game reminds me a lot of Corbin Carroll.

Coppy’s farm was incredible. All the pitchers died besides Fried but the hit rate on the position players was almost perfect

Actually, not really. I remember that Bobby is the one who implored Coppy to trade for Swanson.

Probably at least since 2017. I saw the Firefrogs (remember them?) and that team had Acuna and Riley (and Alex Jackson) on it. Albies was in AA.
