Organizational sweep last night. Even Atlanta got in on the fun.

Royber Salinas. I haven't seen him on any top 30 lists. He's 21 and back in A ball after a promotion at the end of last year. 18.2 IP he has 11 BB so he has some work to do there, but he has also k'd 43. 76.8% of the outs he has recorded are by strikeout? And he's only given up 9 hits. That's pretty unbelievable. Anyone got anything on him?

Rome might have the most interesting team to watch thus far. A bunch of relatively early, older, draft guys that haven't hit are currently hitting. Which is good because Mississippi has Harris and Lugbauer and not much else offensively thus far. Moreover, at the rate he is going, Harris won't be there for long.

Actually number 30 on BA's list.

Paywall prevents me from seeing BA's list.

They talk about him being unathletic with bad weight. Is he this decade's Roman Colon?

A lot of guys get hefty once coming stateside. It is not uncommon at all.

I don't see much issue with it as of now. They ain't chasing balls down in the gap.

Really hard to "know" without hearing directly from someone who's actually SEEN him IMO - I'm always leery about reports on guys at the lower levels until they get much more advanced eyes on them. It wasn't too long ago that folks that Law trusted pretty implicitly convinced him Riley had slider bat speed, ya know???

I haven't personally seen him, so I have no clue.

M. Harris with a double and a HR so far tonight.

He has 2 triples and like 5 or 6 doubles this year. A little more loft and those could leave the park. If he keeps hitting like he has I could see him going to AAA in a few months.

I thought tall and lean was HoRam and Colon was like 6'3" 250. If it wasn't Colon, who was the 00s hefty righty?

An international signing from a couple years ago I was always curious about is having a great start...

20 year old Brandol Mezquita is following up a solid GCL year with a hot start in Augusta.

He had a .854 OPS with a .308/.402/.452 slash line in the GCL last year

At Augusta in 66 plate appearances this year, he's at a .346/.455/.404 slash line good for a 146 wRC+

Still striking out a decently high clip at ~26% but is also walking ~15%
