He grades IA's FA at 60/65, CU at 60/65 and the CH at 50/55.
He said the FA, "was sitting more 92-93 MPH", and then tried to hang a 60 on the pitch. Problem is, 92-93 is grade 45 velocity, and I can't fathom the amount of movement needed to boost a pitch up a full grade and a half.
He then tries to show off the movement on the CU, but the video is so blurry I can barely see the ball at all.
FG's grades on IA are 55/55 on the FA, 50/55 on the CU, and 50/60 on the CH. I would put more stock into what EL and Kiley have to say than this guy at TC. He is factually wrong about the FA, and his homerism is likely influencing his grades on the other pitches.
We know Anderson's CU has bad spin rates, so a grade 60/65 pitch is unlikely. We also know his reverse K splits suggest his CH is better than the CU. We also know this wannabe scout has no idea what he's talking about.
