MINORS FINAL 4/14/18: The Braxton Question

Time to pull the pin on Braxton Davidson. I know he's still only 21 (22 in June), but he has started 2018 1-for-30 (.033) with 22 strikeouts and one measly walk. His hit was a home run, yeah.
For his career, he has had 1,368 at-bats in the minors. He's hit .222 with 538 strikeouts as opposed to 304 hits. His home run total has been, in his three full seasons, 10, 10, 7.'
The one upside: his defense has come around. Eleven errors in 2016, one last year. Also in his favor: the Braves can afford to wait since so many prospects who might be moving up were wiped out by CoppyGate.

Not a single comment about Davidson. Guess he won't be missed when the time comes.

There was a point where maybe I thought he could develop into a poor man's Adam Dunn with the walks, but that point has passed for me. I don't really consider him a prospect these days, but I guess strange stories happen.
