I'm happy to see Burrows promoted. He was outclassing hitters in Rome last year. Really nice guy too, the kind that asks kids if he can sign anything for them after the games.

Is Harrington hurt or just falling? That pick was a head-scratcher for me, especially given that they signed him to an above-slot deal.

He was probably the least impressive (major?) Braves pitching prospect last year as far as numbers went, I thought.

Anderson finishes 3.2 ip, 2h, 3r, 7so, 3bb

He gave up a run on a wild pitch was taken out and the reliever gave up 2 hits resulting in 2 runs. How accurate are the pitch tracks on the milb app? It seems Anderson was getting screwed if they're accurate. Should have finished with 0 runs, 8 striketouts and only 1 walk. Literally 7 balls in a row that looked like they should have been strikes. I remember Kiley talking about a big reason that Anderson's walk rate was high last year was due to the inconsistencies of the A ball umps.

Cumberland’s bat stayed hot in the offseason. Not sure where he plays but he’s destroying the ball. AA visit this season would be impressive

My hope is that he can be a third catcher, play at first and left.

He absolutely cruised thru the first 3 innings. Like 3IP, 1H, 0BB, 6K i think. Kinda fell apart after, but I'm not sure why.
ball4life32 reported that the ump was out of control based on the gameday information. Anderson has top notch stuff and is progressing quite nicely.
