Rome = Atlanta Braves 1977 - 1981

Even less pitching than those Braves teams if you can believe that. 5.37 ERA and 1.64 WHIP.

It looks like there are a few decent hitting prospects in Rome. Reyes and Camargo are currently heading in different directions, but they have some promise along with Victor Caratini and Joey Meneses (who is currently on the DL). Jake Schrader looks to have some power potential and if his contact skills improve, he may be someone to watch. A tad old for the league in age, but only his second year in pro ball.

Schrader already had a 5-for-5 this year. As a 27th-round pick in 2013, the last round pick to sign, he's already kind of a Cinderella story.

At what point do we start looking at Kyle Wren as a viable possible starting center fielder in the majors? He's hitting near .300 with a .365 OBP with 31 stolen bases at Lynchburg this year.

He has absolutely no power so he would need to continue those numbers in AA before we start thinking starting caliber. I think he could end up being a 4th outfielder for us.
