Isn't the SEC pretty comparable to High A? We've already got a full season of stats on Wright. I'm much more interested in the High School aged kids.

Eh, I wouldn't say that. I'd say it's sort of a rookie-ball/A-ball mix. It's tough to say exactly because you're facing some guys who are 1st round-caliber, AA/AAA-level hitters, then you're also facing guys that won't ever play pro ball on any level.

But when looking at stats, I would say rookie-ball/A-ball is pretty close, at least for hitters. Haven't done as much looking on pitchers.

Yunior Severino's K rate is up to 29%. Hopefully that starts coming down. He is walking at a good clip though.

He was likely on the strictest pitch count possible.

Any word on the stuff?

Twitter: Kyle Wright recorded strikeouts for 3 of the 5 outs he covered. Max velocity of 97 but sat 94. After month and a half off he looked great

with minor league guns that means his velo was probably 91-95ish.
