Thanks for the links. I know the diff though. I was more talking about his action on the ball and not really caring to say 2seamer. I will be sure to use proper terminology in my post when just generally chatting about nothing. I guess I should apologize for my snark to ya all day today. Seemed to really upset you. My bad.

Listened to the first two innings and could tell he was not right. Turned it off when he went down 2, to help kids with homework and I was frustrated. Man I hope he is just off mechanically and not hurting. His fastball hit 96 a few times. Just couldn't control anything.

Was his changeup getting good rising action?
 
He'll probably be ok. You never know when they are trying to work on something. He started slow last year also. I wouldn't worry until there are three or four starts in a row that way.
