MINORS FINAL WEDNESDAY 5/10: Midweek matinees

Is it possible to have Acuna starting 2018 with the big club? If that's the case, then you could trade Markakis in the offseason. His contract will look pretty solid to contending teams next year.

At this rate the entire AA team will be in Atlanta by August.

C - Flowers
1B - Freeman
2B - Phillips
SS - Swanson
3B - Demerritte
LF - Markakis
CF - Inciarte
RF - Acuna
DH - Kemp

SP: Teheran, Folty, Allard, Weigel, Gohara, Soroka

Screw Albies, he is old news. Screw service time, just get these guys up here winning games!!

Acuna is so impressive. After a pretty poor start to this year, he has absolutely exploded. His OPS now for 2017, Advanced A and AA combined, is .910! Victor Robles, who is 7 months older, in Advanced A, and who has been getting much more hype for his year so far, has an OPS of .852.

WHOA!!! Slow your roll. Let's see how these guys react when adversity hits.

Acuna will at some point bat under .600/.650/1.000. Then lets see if he crumbles.

Allard and Gohara will have an era over 2.0. I hope they can keep it together then.

Remember it is a mental game.

decent line...would get excited if he could do that 4 times in a row.

edit: Would actually love for him to do it 4 times in a row and then dupe some other team into wanting him.

I had hope for Blair after that last start of the year with reports of a new pitch. He dashed all those hopes. Maybe he can string some things together and gain some value at least

If Gohara dominates AA for the year... he will easily be a top 10-20 prospect if not higher. Let alone if he gets promoted to AAA and does the same. Big ifs and a long way to go though. Still, I think Gohara and Allard are far and away my fav SP prospects

Gohara is only 20. That is Allard, Soroka, Acuna, Gohara all 19-20 in AA. If things go this way, we will have the youngest roster in a couple years.

Rojas jr 1-3, 2b

Came into game .284/.328/.466 after being .270/.349/.491 last year at Gwinnett

Really wish we'd give him boni's spot and see how it goes

Good night for Pache in Rome. 3-5 with a triple, two singles, four RBI and a stolen base. He has 7 SB and 2 CS this year.

Seen a few tweets from someone at the game about his defense being really impressive tonight, too.

I will never understand why Rojas Jr. won't be given a shot. Lots of tools and has only ever hit since being in our organization. Obviously not going to be a regular or a star but could be a good bench player. Let's throw Franco or Ruiz at 3rd.... bring up Castro and Rojas Jr. for the bench... trade Adonis for whatever we can get for him since he's shown some life... then just see what happens... its not like we're contending here.

If Pache can keep his K's down, he could be special. Cruz is the one that's disappointing me after starting on absolute fire in the GCL
