MINORS FINAL WEDNESDAY 5/3 ... Midweek DH sweep for Florida

21 for advanced A is still fairly young

Eh, not for legit prospects. And the fact remains, he's K'ing at over 37% at age 21 in A+ while repeating the level. I'm not saying it's impossible for him to still become something, I'm just saying the odds at this point are incredibly slim.

Isn't 16% a pretty good bb rate? Is his K and high BB a sign of maybe taking too many pitches? Would getting to be more aggressive early in counts be a good approach?

Yeah, his BB rate has always been really good. But he has sustained high BABIPs and still his BA is dreadful, which drags down his entire offensive output, because his K rate is through the roof.

I don't know if he's taking too many pitches or what, but if he hasn't at least begun solving it by now, the chances he ever does are not good.

I guess Adam Dunn is the model but Adam Dunn was never terrible in the minors.
