MINORS FINAL WEDNESDAY 6/27: Midweek Sadness

Braves have promoted Minter to Mississippi, and Braves signed for Miss.,free agent 3B Andrew Daniel, recently released by the Angels off their Class AA Mobile club.
 
With two out in the second, Pike has walked three straight, including 10 straight out of the strike zone.

Pike walks in a run on four straight after Lewis visited. What on earth happened to him?

He's missing all over the place, but ended up striking out two around the four walks.
 
Pike gives up solo homer, then walks the bases loaded. Out of the game after 2.1 innings: 8 walks, 5 strikeouts!

Mader comes in a strikes out a pair with bases loaded, keeping it only 2-0.

Lien doubles for the first hit. Morales (walk) to third. He tries to score when pitch goes to backstop, but bounced back to catcher, tosses to pitcher covering for easy out.
 
Mader give up three-run bomb to Jon Rodriguez, second for him tonight, both over 400 feet to dead center. Braves trail 5-0 in fourth.
 
According to Mississippi game notes, this is the rotation in this six-game series:

Tonight: Pike
Thursday: Max Fried
Friday: Mike Soroka
Saturday: Luiz Gohara
Sunday: Kolby Allard
Monday: Pike again!

(gut feeling tells me it'll be Wes Parsons or a callup instead)
 
Braves have walked 10 in less than six innings. Reynolds in for Mader, walked one and let him steal second.

yeah, I am almost certain he was working on a pitch from the off season and either figured it out or scrapped it. He was bloody awful to start and now is doing Clouse things..
