I'm surprised that O'Day is still in Florida. It seems like he needs to see higher competition soon if there is any chance of using him in Atlanta.
Lane Adams is struggling in an epic kind of way. I'm glad Hamilton was signed.
Camargo is hot. Maybe he is in line for a 3 week hot streak in Atlanta.
Bryce Ball has been really impressive.

Gwinnett being in the playoffs extends the rehab window for him and maybe some of the others.
 
I'm not terribly worried about O'Day's level of competition. It's more about making sure he's healthy, building the arm strength, etc. We know what he's capable of when he's fit and it doesn't take facing great competition to see if his stuff and command are back. The organization will have enough eyes on him to determine that.
 
this is why looking at Waters' last 41 PAs to say his k rate is improving is illogical...0-5 with 4 Ks changes that percentage very quickly lol

This is the reason I wish they would have put him in the BP for the stretch run.
He could be a real weapon as a power arm when we need a strikeout.
I understand giving him every chance to start but for a few months it sure would be nice to let him air it out for an inning at a time.
Oh well.
Hopefully he develops a solid secondary pitch to be able to be a good 5th starter for us next year.

Braves' minor leaguers are passing around the Golden Sombrero. 4 Ks for Ball on Monday night. 4 Ks for Waters last night.
