Despite your attempt at humor, I think Weiss with a little more power is a good comp for Swanson's floor. A .260/.350/.350 hitter with average or slightly better defense. It would obviously be disappointing if he was Walt Weiss plus a few more extra base hits, but a guy that can be anything from Weiss to Trammell is a solid cornerstone for a franchise.

And yes, all prospects have a legitimate chance to be the next Andy Marte, who was considered an elite "can't miss" cornerstone guy for quite a while.

I think his floor is quite a bit lower than Walt Weiss.
