MLB Playoffs Thread

Royals have used their speed big time to come back in this game, wow.

What a team the Fighting Ned's.

Really really ballsy managing by Ned there.

If Fredi called out the exact same sequence, the bunt fails, the stolen base is picked off, and instead of flying out to deep right to end the game we strike out.

I was thinking more of BJ being bunted to second, works fine, BJ looks like he steals third but a bad slide or pop up off the base makes it an out.

Have watched maybe 2-3 KC games all year. Man they have guys out of their bullpen throwing gas. Reminds me of our bullpen not so long ago.

Guy at this bar is getting super pissed at me because I don't agree with Yost's decision to bunt there.

I didn't either but it worked out, with Dyson's speed he could've stolen second saving an out. In fact, stealing second is easier than stealing third but Dyson is fast enough that he can do both very well.

Another sac bunt.

Yost is managing out of his mind.

(or his players are just continuing to execute on call).

That was a good bunt, Hosmer is not Dyson speed wise so bunting him up is a good move. But with Dyson you let him steal it to save the out IMO.

LOL. Real tweet from the Kansas City Police Dept.:

@kcpolice: We really need everyone to not commit crimes and drive safely right now. We'd like to hear the Royals clinch this.

Maybe it's one of those things where Dyson is more comfortable stealing 3rd than 2nd?

Yost was gonna bunt him over regardless. Perhaps 2nd base was the better idea just incase someone gets lucky and gets a single somewhere Dyson has the speed to score.
