MLB sued for $100M after pulling All-Star Game from Atlanta

Regardless of political views this suit won’t go anywhere. There is no legal ground for a business to honor a destination without some sort of contractual agreement with that city. I doubt MLB signed a contract with Cobb county or any other businesses around it. The only entity who could have a claim is the organization itself. But the Braves are not suing MLB.

If the lawyer wants a settlement, he/she should push the disparity in race between Denver and Atlanta. No way MLB wants that to become a talking point for a sport that's already struggling to attract black players and fans
