MLB Trade Deadline Discussion

They do not miss Kershaw, with the off-day, Haren is being skipped, and they will Beckett Tuesday, Greinke Wednesday and Kershaw Thursday according the MLB probables.

I wonder if they might give Kershaw an extra day, now, after that CG gem against the Giants. Also, they might figure Haren is enough against the Braves' sorry offense.

Let me be the bearer of be news to some of you, the braves could go 0-5 against the Dodgers and still would not become sellers. A lot of teams wish they were only 3 games back from the best revoked in their league.

My MLB phone App still has it as Beckett, Greinke, Kershaw.

I was going off the espn fantasy forecaster and it had us missing him. We also should have Teheran going against him. Kershaw doesn't win every game he starts. Heck, Freddy freaking Garcia would have beat him in the playoffs last year if it wasn't for awful David Carpenter. He's the best pitcher in baseball, but he's still human.

Human but here's a crazy stat i saw the other day on him.

Last 101 starts, he has a 1.98 ERA......

Julio is good but he's not on Kershaw's level, probably never will be.

Kershaw isnt unbeatable but he doesnt give up many runs.

Seems like the Miller talks could be getting serious

Also on #RedSox: Team had top scout at #Braves’ Triple A game today. Braves seeking LH reliever, known interest in Miller.

@Buster_ESPN: Some teams dealing with Phillies say they are having difficulty in talks;not sure if PHI committed to dealing.

Other than maybe Hamels, everyone should be up for sale.

Hamels would bring in a haul even.

"I was going to trade my veterans, but then I saw that trailer for 'Hot Tub Time Machine 2' and got a much better idea."

. The Phillies remind me of the Astros years ago where they were just in denial of their own situation. The Astros could have traded Beekman and Oswalt when they would have brought back a kings ransom. Instead they waited until they could barely find someone to eat their salary.

But this is good for us. I would put the over under at 9 years till they are relevant in the division.

That is a very good comparsion

No one wants Howard.
Rollins can refuse a trade. So can Utley (and they're Philly icons).
Lee probably won't bring back as much as he would have 2 months ago.
No one wants Papelbon at that cost with his attitude (though I think his personality fits with a winning ball club). Plus his velocity has dropped.
A team could definitely use Ruiz, Rollins, or Utley. But the latter two are in control of their destinies.

Chris Denorfia is a bench bat that will get dealt. Can play anywhere in the OF. Maybe a younger version of Reed Johnson.

Nationals are looking for a second basemen to replace Rendon who moved back to third base. Martin Prado is a name I keep seeing as a potential trade candidate from Arizona.
