MLB Trade Deadline Discussion

great a lefty that cannot get out lefties.. might as well have stuck with Avilan. This guy has a .298 batting average against lh hitters.

And another player who strikes out way too much while walking little. Sorry... Bona is not a good player... Russell is super unexciting.

Bonifacio is finally a Brave after years of almost becoming one (we've been noted as close to getting him in the past per MLBTR). Russell is a good add too numbers wise but has reverse splits so not sure he is that lefty we need. So depending on the cost a good move for us.

Seems like a pretty big "meh," though it can rise to an "OK" or fall to an "ugh" depending on price.

I suppose it's reasonable to trust Russell more than Shreve and Bonifacio more than Schafer, so that's fine. It doesn't really push us any closer to anything meaningful, but small improvements matter, I guess.

All these guys are better than SS because they had 2 or more CG's last year.

CGs >

Are you honestly this dense, or are you not even trying?

The argument isn't, and never was, "whoever has the most CGs is the best." Please follow a long: a guy cannot be considered an ace when he has 1 career CG. Never did I say they are the be-all, end-all. I already explained this. Reading should not be hard for an adult.
