What dumbass left Strider off the ballot entirely? I personally think his season was more historic, and thus more deserving of First Place; but I can't blame voters who had either one First or Second.
But somebody left Strider off entirely, and that's nonsense.
There’s always that 2 a$$hole
16 voters thought Greg Maddux did not deserve HoF enshrinement. An idiot is born every minute.
In terms of stupid things that shouldn't bother me but which will always bother me, Rivera getting unanimous induction after Maddux didn't is always going to be right at the top.

True, but I'm older and I could never believe that Hank Aaron wasn't unanimous.
PS--Just looked it up and Mariano Rivera has been the only one to receive a 100% vote.

It was and still is ridiculous. Maddux is arguably the best pitcher of all time. But that being said, it's going to be easier to get a unanimous guy in there now that they purged the voter rolls. When Maddux was up for voting you had guys that haven't covered the sport in years still being allowed to vote. Will be interesting to see what Pujols gets.
