Movie Thread

What movie are you all planning to see for the rest of the year?

Star Wars is a definite. It and the new Saw movie are the only others I may see

Besides Star Wars

Logan Lucky
It
Kingsman II
Blade Runner
The Foreigner (Jackie Chan is back and badass)
Maybe Jigsaw
Thor
Justice League

Those are all of the ones I'm hyped to see. But out of all of them I may only pay to see JL, Foreigner, Blade Runner, Kingsman, and It. Logan Lucky as well since it's Soderbergh and I loved all of his Oceans movies. This looks like a redneck Ocean's heist movie.

Thor and Jigsaw I'll probably wait to hear about the initial reviews before I spend money on them. There are also some smaller budget films I'm interested in.

What Happened to Monday comes out on Netflix in about 2 weeks. It seems like it might be pretty solid. From what I've read, the plot seems very interesting.

Star Wars VIII. Didn't know there was a new Thor dropping, but I'll probably try to see that, time permitting. I'm sure there'll some Oscar-bait in the last couple months of the year that will pique my interest.

Wonder Woman was underwhelming. DC continues the trend with their underwhelming cinematic universe. They should really start over from scratch.

Gal Gadot as great though. And obviously being the most beautiful woman on Earth doesn't hurt. The rest of the movie was mostly trash that didn't flow at all. Just a big jumbled mess of plot holes and mediocre acting.

The Hitman's Bodyguard is pretty good. You pretty much know how it's going to end, but the chemistry between Reynolds and Jackson is good and it's a really wild ride. As Mickey said, "Action-packed Pee Wee."

Sounds like Comcast and Apple will have movies available to stream online 17 days after they debut in the theatre for $30-$50.

That's a good deal for family if you have a nice tv.

Holy **** that's expensive. I wouldn't do that ever. I get your point about the Family, but there's no way I'm paying 30-50 bucks to watch something on my 55' 4K TV when I can watch it on a hundred foot cinema screen. I get the general appeal, but it's a big old stinker for me.

If you have a wife and a few kids it's a good deal.
