Murphy War Crimes

Max threw 76 pitches yesterday. We probably won't see him until game two.

Yup. Makes sense as well to give Max any extra time for that blister to get right. Lines up Strider/Fried for games 1 and 2. And for them to pitch on full rest for 4 and 5 if necessary.

I'm guessing that's how it goes, with Elder in game three. If we are down 0-2 by that one we may see someone go on the IL to allow us to bring Charlie back.

If we lose with Fried and Strider in the first 2 games it's just not happening.

I expect Elder/Wright combo in game 3.

So, either some pitchers say that they prefer TDA, or AA and the front office is just allowing Snitker to derp the team into an early postseason exit.

I'm hopeful that Elder started with B team today to face our good hitters and they paired Murphy with B team to align pitchers and catchers. That makes sense frankly and he started A team yesterday. That would imply we should expect Murphy for non-Fried starts. Will see

We just need to realize that in the playoffs you need ****ty players because its a different game. We've had some good teams get rolled right out of the playoffs but the worst Braves team I can remember that made the playoffs not only won the WS but never even faced an elimination game. Both Murphy and TDA have started one game. Murphy went 0-3. TDA went 1-3 with a crucial 2 run HR. Now if we can just sit Acuna and maybe start Nicky Lopez over Albies we might just be ****ty enough to be a good playoff team. Why do you think third place teams like the Phillies are so good in the playoffs. Look at all the 100 win team failures by the Dodgers. Dont forget who gave us the most clutch hit in Braves history.... Francisco Cabrera who sucked. Our most clutch playoff hitter in the 90's was Mark Lemke who could only appear at an all star game if he bought a ticket. We need to send out a Bobby Cox Sunday lineup and we will win 10-8.
