NASA Unmanned Rocket Didn't Get Very Far

it is a fact easier to control dumb people

that is why education is important

My brothers and sisters can attest to that. Vote one way because of something that happened in the 60's (they make sure you know that), but live the opposite. SMH

I thought the private sector fixed all problems?

Cause we know the govt sucks and all that

Even though i don't like government intrusion on many things, but stuff like this they need oversight. What if that ship hit a populated area, it would be so terrible that they would forbid any public entity of doing something like this.

I applaud the private sector in trying to do this. I am a sci-fi geek at at a scale of 1 to 10, a 10 and wish we have both sides try to better our space program. I don't believe in the limits imposed by those who said it wasn't possible. The magic man upstairs want us to achieve the best and did not set any limits, so why not test them and not be bottled up in this poor excuse for a solar system.

Not to split hairs or anything, but did NASA actually 'invent' GPS? I was under the impression it was a military technology (completed on contract by a Northrop-Grumann-type moreso than NASA) that was later commercialized. A quick search seems to indicate NASA is a guardian of the program, currently, but says little about its involvement in conception.

GPS was not a NASA project, but it would not have been possible with advances and cooperation from NASA.
