NASA Unmanned Rocket Didn't Get Very Far

Don't get me wrong, Nasa has done some good stuff like early breast cancer screenings and heart pumps, but they spend way too much wasted money on space travel and going up to the moon...for what?

NASA was credited with the hydrodynamic swimsuits.....man, lets drop them another billion dollars.

Why not focus these smart guys time and energy on meaningful things?

Things NASA has brought us as consumers. LEDs , IR Ear Thermometers, Artificial Limbs, Ventricle Assist Device, Anti-Icing Systems for planes, the grooves on highways that let you know you're drifitng, temper foam, many fire resistant clothes. Freeze Drying, Water Purification, various solar harnessing tech, pretty much anything computer related, and many more things came from NASA research.

holy ****

you're not trolling

Nasa is the biggest waste of money in history. "THey do great things!" YEah, because putting a couple dudes and an American Flag on the moon is greatnesses. Benefits everyone! WHo would be able to survive if we didn't have people roaming space?

Wow, a real life adult said this. This is an actual post from an adult. That is sig quote worthy.

Hey everyone, look how dumb Giles is!! Dude if not for NASA, we wouldn't have tempur-pedic foam, ear thermometers and bumpies on the side of the road.

Giles you're such a dummy. I'll gladly have billions of tax dollars spent to make novelty beds and bumps on the side of the road that let women know where not to drive.

I'm actually all for spending more money on NASA.

Space had always interested me and Im always in awe when I see new things in Gods creation.

It might sound cliche, but we have barely scratched the surface of all that's out there in outer space.

But we walked on the moon!

I hate to break this to you, but NASA hasn't sent anybody to the moon in a couple years now...

Haha, yeah space technology is soooo pointless. Who needs GPS? My trusty sextant has never let me down.

Not a huge fan of the Fed Gov. and Nasa relationship but I really can't remember why. I'm sure I had a good reason, but I just can't remember. I'm thinking it has something to do with unfair negotiations in dealing with contracts.

Nice

Throw some misogyny in with your proving you're an idiot rant

I don't know how the world even worked without GPS. I imagine planes and cars just crashing into each other all over the place. The NSA didn't know where we were. People were sitting at home all day wondering if their spouses were out cheating on them. The clock on my microwave was probably off by a few seconds. Maps of the world looked like Pangea. It was a terrible place.

Honestly I like NASA for the most part. Even though the money in to technology out ratio is pretty low. I was just annoyed with goldfly trolling and trying to make people feel stupid while giving nothing back to the subject. If you're going to try and act like someone is dumb for saying NASA is pointless, then give some reasons for why NASA isn't pointless.

Have you ever seen Goldfly provide support?

If he even has to explain his thoughts on a subject, you're probably too dumb to understand anyway.

Never. Its just about him belitting people because they aren't as "enlightened" as he is.

Again, Vol was spot on in his recent description of him.

I must have missed that. Was it the one where he said he had the physical prowess of Ray Rice's wife?
