NBA Thread

Because your response made no sense, you're grasping at straws.

You're basing your whole argument on a stat that doesn't have a high enough correlation to individual performance for it to be the crux of your argument. You my friend are the one grasping at straws.

Lol off some of these all star players. Joe Johnson! Lillard. Hibbert

Meanwhile no Boogie or Anthony Davis

Anthony Davis not making it is a crime.

Whats wrong with Hibbert, he's the best C in basketball.

HEY REMEMBER THAT TRADE I TALKED ABOUT TWO DAYS? AND YOU GUYS LAUGHED????????

Looky what I found today....

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/realistic-trade-russell-westbrook-save-york-knicks-163000701--nba.html

Trade him for a defensive G who cant shoot, a C whose hurt and has a bad contract, and Felton who is meh. And draft picks that wont matter until 2 years from now.

Every year player outside of LBJ/KD are tradeable.

There are few offers i'd consider for Russ, not that they will trade him.

You swap the worst center in the league for a perfect fit in Chandler, who is a beast defensively and an athletic big who can run the floor. He also only has 1 year left on his deal, so, not sure where "enourmous" comes from?

Thunder play small-ball a lot, Chandler would be useless.

If they traded him, they would want value and players under control for 4-5+ years.

IE, not very many players.

Not that this will ever happen.

That Knicks offer is from a Knicks fan, go ****ing figure.

Then why are the Thunder a net of +2 since RW went down?

Why do they have a worse record without him in less games?

Should of only lost 3 games if Ibaka doesnt get ejected for a crap call.

Again, Russ was playing like a floor general, his passing was crazy good.

He put up a triple double in 3 quarters.

Man I do love MCW. He goes the basket all the time and can get there consistently, and can create his own shot at times. Looking forward to him progressing with Wiggins/Parker/Embiid/Smart, hopefully one of them, with Noel too.

You have to love teh guys with long arms. They just have angles that most players don't. My buddy at work is a 76er fan. I'm rooting for you guys.

MCW is pretty good, probably won't be a star or anything unless he all of a sudden can shoot. But, him and Noel are a good base. I think Embid is too similar to Noel and you gotta shoot for a wing player or a stretch 4. Wiggins/Parker would probably be the best fit.

I don't watch much college basketball but from what I've seen, Embid is the best player. That kid is going to be a star.

Alright Brule...I agree with you. I think they should consider trading RW now. That really hurts to say.

Ok, I got caught up in the emotion of the game last night again. I do think they should first try to integrate RW into the fold. If he does take a step back then obviously keeping him is the right move but KD needs to be the primary ball handler or at least have equal duties.

Also, Perry Jones is going to be a damn good player in this league. He is learning at Thunder U and I hope he doesn't break out too much in his third year because I want him in OKC for a LONG time.

At some point you guys will realize just how incredible Sam Presti is at his job. Yes, having KD helps but when you make picks like Serge/Reggie/Jones/Adams and identify talent like Lamb in a trade then you are doing something right. When RW comes back this team goes a legit 11 deep. That doesn't have as much of an effect in the playoffs but this team is going to have the #1 seed in a ridiculously tough West.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Sig'd!

I don't know how anyone can watch the RW lead Thunder v the Thunder from last 2 weeks and think the RW lead Thunder are the better team....much better ball movement, everyone gets invovled without RW....This OKC team can beat Miami, especially if they ship off RW for more parts.

OKC whooping Miami had more to do with benching Perk.

Again, they need to try and insert RW into the lineup. If he plays like he played the last 15 games before being hurt then it works and the team is better. If he doesn't take a step back then all options need to be considered.

Further, this also has to do a lot with the fact that Presti is a brilliant at his job. Every player he has acquired has essentially become a player. Jackson/Lamb/Jones/Adams all need more minutes. The team is especially going to ahve to get creative to get Jones some minutes. That kid's ceiling is ridiculous. Not sure if his motor will allow him to reach that but the sky's the limit.
