But, I thought the Nets were "the best team in basketball since January?" Or that the Clips were an easy out.

Do you think the Clippers defense is better than the Nets?

Do you think Durant is better than Lebron?
 
Lebron certainly looked like the best basketball player in the league last night but its hard to tell because the level of competition in the East isn't close the the West. It will be interesting to see what Lebron does against the Pacers.

I said record wise they were. I never once said the Nets were the best team in the league since that span. Those are two completely different things.
 
NETS ARE THE BEST TEAM IN BASKETBALL............but WAIT....that doesn't help my case with this argument........THE EAST ISN'T AS GOOD!

LOL you went on and on about their record since January and how great they were playing. Now they aren't as good as you said they were 3 weeks ago. You never said "best team in basketball" but definitely said they were playing really well and like one of the better teams. Don't retract now.

What am I retracting on? I've been very consistent on the Nets.
 
I've never put them in the class of the top teams in the league. They never posed a threat to Miami. I've said all year that they are aa good team when others said they were garbage. There are only a handful of elite teams in the league and that's thewqy it should be.

It's a joke though. This is why I am not really a fan of the NBA. Sure I root for the Hawks and I will watch playoffs, but I don't get overly invested because the outcomes are way too predictable.
