Why does it matter how he gets points? Howard gets plenty of points on post ups with his jump hook. Does a pick and roll dunk by Howard count less than 2 points? Does his free throw makes count less than 1 point?

The Rockets have a ton of offensive players...........why will it matter?

Rockets look to have a bunch of offensive players because of the pace they played at next year. Lets see hwo productive they are if the pace slows down. That won't affect a great player like Harden but lets see what it does to others.

Got years mixed up. Now comment on how Asik went to crap in a week during offseason

So you were wrong, what else is new.

I said if he's a backup to Howard, him playing next to Howard is a disaster. They could not compliment each other any less... I'd still say Smith or Jones start.

Sure, I guess its possible. I just don't see how thats a good idea with Lin as your PG. That guy can't get by anyone unless its in the open floor. Plus, Harden is a wizard in space.

Yea, I mean, like I said: I don't necessarily think it's a good fit with the skillset of their backcourt, I just believe I remember reading that it was part of their Howard-appeasement plan post-signing.

The Rockets were 6th in the NBA in offensive rating, which is points per 100 possessions. Fail

Yeah, because they consistently ran the other team out of the building and got open shots in transition. Man, you are so bad with basketball.

How does Howard average close to 20 points per game if he can't do anything offensively?

So can Howard, go look at Howard's stats and get back to me.

You cannot hand Howard the ball near the top of the key and get anything. You cannot consistently post up Howard and effectively run your offense. Gasol is so much better offensively its not even funny. Now Howard is a better defensive player so it shrinks the gap but overall I think Gasol is better.

Because he is more athletic than every guy he is facing and hew as in the East which was horrible. Lets see if HOward is ever healthy again and see where his production is.

That takes into account how many times you score everytime you touch the ball. They scored more because they had a high pace (1st), but the 6th shows they were the 6th best team at points scored. What is it that you do not get?

Why would you give Howard the ball at the top of the key? Hey Howard sucks, he can't do anything when he's bringing the ball up the court and is at halfcourt!

Howard is a good post up player and he's a good pick and roll player. Its' funny the dude averages 20 points per game some years yet you act like he's Thabo or Perkins offensively.

Westbrook sucks defensively. He can't block shots from the opposing teams center!

He's not Perkins bad, but for someone with his talent, he should average 25+ PPG per game given the lack of quality centers in the game.

Face remains his offensive skillet is extremely limited.
