Yeah...Ibaka doesn't matter. You guys are hysterical.

Spurs got lucky last year RW got hurt and were lucky to get spotted two games.this year.

WHO SAID IBAKA DOESN'T MATTER??
He SHOULDN'T matter if Durant and Westbrook are as amazing as you say. If Durant were top 10 all-time like you claim, he'd be able to deal without Ibaka. He can't. What's so hard to comprehend?

All this **** with Adams...remember all the crap you said about Kaep before last season, and how he played. You'd think you'd know to not jump the gun by now.

Kaep had an awesome year last year. What were you watching? I have 100% confidence that Adams will get to the level that I mentioned.

Either way, the Spurs offense is based on getting into the paint and then ball reversales to open shooters. The Thunder are now able to stay home on their perimeter and be more aggressive on the ball but the Serge Protector is there. There is a reason that all of a sudden the Spurs can't score.

"Awesome"?
He was a bus driver. He was pretty terrible in quite a few games. If he was "awesome" last year, I totally see why you think Adams is "awesome." Your bar is set low.

Again, if KD were top 10, he'd be able to manage with the rest of the talent around him. He couldn't. You manage to even overrate a tremendous player.

This isn't a NFL thread. My feelings were made clear on why Kaep struggled early.

You have to understand basketball to see why Serge makes such a big difference on both sides of the ball. In games 1&2 there were two offensive plyaers on the floor. That destroys spacing and nobody will excel in that role. Now you put someone who extends a big to the 3 point line and you put another guard out there (RJ/Lamb) who can shoot and break down a guy off the dribble. Its a completeliy different game. You can knock him all you want and thats fine. I know what I'm seeing and I know my basketball.

Oh BRule/GF, you guys are so clueless on Westbrook.

Its funny you go quiet every terrible game he plays. Yet, when he has 1 good game, you are the only one that knows anything about basketball.

(Assuming he had a good game, I didn't see any of it)

Thats insanity. I criticize Westbrook every time he deserves it like after game 2. I put that loss primarily on him other than the fact Ibaka being out. Westbrook is the best PG in the nba. Eventually you guys will realize that.

No other PG in the NBA other than Wall can do what Westbrook did last night. Westbrook kills himself with his hero moments but when we plays like he did last night (which is happening more often as he matures) nobody can touch him. 3rd bets player in the nba.

I guess you totally discount all the games he has where he tries to do everything, turns the ball over, shoots 30%, and isn't interested in playing defense. You know, like most of this postseason?

I never discount anything. But what I do know is that the West is absolutely loaded and that these guys are playing against tough competition. The other team gets paid as well so while Westbrook hurts himself the other team also does a good job figuring out how to stop the Thunder. In addition, it finally helps that Thabo was taken off the floor because after a damn good year last year he is a complete waste of space and destroyed the way OKC wanted to play offense. Teams completely ignored Thabo on the offensive side of the ball because he couldn't even shoot (shot over 40% last year from 3). Spacing is the most important thing on offense and now the Thunder have it with either RJ/Lambo at the 2 and Ibaka back. Its night and day.

So you're implying that the Thunder have 2 of the top 3 players in the entire league, that they have the two best players in the Western Conference, and yet are absolutely dependent on Serge Ibake to win a playoff series?

Got it

When there is no spacing on offense and no rim protection then it doesn't matter how good your perimeter players are.

Hockey playoffs are happening? NHL is lucky 4 huge markets made it to the finals.

#TeamBettman

Which small markets had a chance? The good thing about the NHL is the big markets are run by the best organizations. You don't see some small market town get one star player and become good.

Wait, I thought the NHL was great because anyone can win. What are you trying to say right here?

All the final four teams in the NBA are brilliantly run as well. Maybe not Indiana...

This seems important. RT @nbastats The Spurs shot just 3-of-14 (21.4%) at the rim when defended by Ibaka last night: http://on.nba.com/SeV9eq

Sure, Ibaka isn't the best defensive big in the game.
