Melo played nearly 30 minutes but won't play in the regular season.

And might get shut down.

Only cares about stats and shots not winning. Selfish me player who won't win ****

Could have gone to a contender in Chi but wants to waste his prime in NY.

Supposedly the Thunder are going to be pretty active at the deadline. I'm excited. I think getting Lopez would be a smart move if all they have to give up is Perks expiring and Lamb. Then you can flip Jackson for a first round pick (hopeful) and you go to war with that team.

Why would anyone trade a 1 for Jackson when he's a FA?

The issue with this is, everyone knows OKC isn't signing him so there's very little leverage.

Well it depends on what offers he gets. They could always match the offer sheet and then keep him for another year and figure it out. It's definitely not the situation the Thunder want to be in but it's not an absolute they will lose him. Worst case scenario is they go the Greg Monroe route and have him for another year If the offers aren't what jackson wants.

I think like 14 teams have cap, he's going to get a big offer.

He is going to get an offer but I don't think its going to be so large that it would be prohibitive for the Thunder to match. Nobody is offering RJ more than 10 per year IMO.

1988 Lakers won the finals. Kareem was 40 years old.

But giles was referring to a different season. Some people are very rhombus like.

“It’s going to be the best All-Star Game for me, to be able to be in the Garden,” James said Friday. “I love my fans back in Cleveland. I loved my fans when I was in Miami. But if I could have 82 regular-season games in the Garden, you know I would, because it’s the mecca of basketball. You get a great feeling when you walk in there because there is so much history. It’s going to be fun.”
