Kanter isn't that great out of the PNR.

Four years sample size > 2 games

And yes by every person on earth's account he's been fantastic this year, but those games in January count as much as the games in February. It's the reason why he's not close to Harden Curry or AD.

As you said, Kanter has never played with anyone even closely resembling RW. The PnR opportunities are going to be there.

But this is a great case in point here of what we are discussing with anlaytics. Yes, Kanter has not been a good PnR player so far in his career. Is that his fault or the fault of the PG and systems he has played in?

He's not athletic enough to be great in the PNR. He does a lot on offense. But that's not an area of expertise with him.

Derrick Favors and Rudy Gobert have been good in the pick and roll. They played in the same system with the same point guards as Enes.

Interesting Russ Kanter debate.

Also players can't evolve more on a new team?

Steph sits out GS loses. But clearly a product of their stacked team.

Klay goes off for 39 in the process and I'll end it there.

Ah the slippery slope fallacy. I love keeping track of them when you chime in for debates.

Players can evolve for a myriad of reasons, and I have said a hundred times I like Kanter in OKC. But he isn't automatically better after 2 games.

Need to see more obviously but he's been impressive.

Do we need to rehash how many times I've been right about players the last 4-5 years? Sure, my track record in the other sports is awful but I know my basketball and you even admitted that recently to a certain extent.

Do you want to rehash the many times you've been wrong?

Looks like Pleiss is coming over Chop. I am looking forward to seeing him play. The reports I read hte last couple of years were very strong on him.

Where did you read the reports that he was coming over?

Also, what do you know about him aside from being 7'2"? Haha

Tibor Pleiss - whose rights were traded from OKC to Utah - is working on a deal to join the Jazz, a source said.

Based on what I've read he is offensively skilled and can finish around the rim with both hands and will hold his own on defense. He's played in the second toughest league in the world and did well at young ages. I've watched youtube clips on him but obviously thats misleading.

@Lockedonsports: With Gobert and Favors starting the Jazz have held the Bulls, Blazers and the Spurs to season low points.

The Kantet trade really seems to have been a win-win-win trade for all teams involved.

Gobert is a beast, i saw a vine of him blocking Duncan on twitter, made it look so, so easy.
