NBA Thread

Well, to be a focal point of a team he is not ready. I know he needs to put on about 15-20 pounds of muscle. I read plenty of Thunder Forums/Team News. He does however have excellent range and shoots at an efficient clip. He is a young player so he isn't going to be a star right away or for that matter even a good player. However, to replace Martin all he needs to do is hit open shots. Reggie Jackson is going to assume a bigger role on offense and he showed that he is ready for that. So together, Lamb/Jackson are goin gto replace Martins/Jacksons performance from last year.

Martin was not a good defensive player anyway.

He shot 33% from the college 3 pt line last year, 34 for his career. Lamb, at his best is when he takes you off the dribble, coming off screens, cutting and driving or pulling up in the lane. Which is not going to translate to the NBA because of his body AND the NBA has much better defenders...he took advantage of a lot of bad teams. He disappeared against the tough teams.

Against ranked teams last year he dropped 13 PPG on 39% from the field and 30% from three.

He's Nick Young with less range, IMO.

Hawks and Bucks are possibly working on a sign and trade to swap Jennings and Teague. Thankfully no Monta Ellis is coming to Atlanta. However out of those three I'd want Teague to stay. Jennings would be a slight preference over Ellis, but both are meh.

Probably a better defender and hopefully for him he gives more effort than Young. But, being Nick Young is no compliment.

We will have to see. The college game is much different than the pro game.

Lamb had a nice crossover for the winning bucket yesterday so that was a good sign. A big knock on him is that he can't create his own shot. He won't need to in the Thunder offense but it would still be nice to have. Lamb has the length to be a good NBA player. He just needs to bulk up a little.

BTW, both Plumlees have looked great so far.

Any performance against legitimate competition (non-nba) of course is something you can gain insight from. Obviously you aren't going to weight it that much but at this point in the year there is nothing else that can be looked at.

Kings are going hard after Monta Ellis at $12mil after letting Tyreke Evans go because he was going to cost $11mil.

I'm just going to go beat my head against a wall until this crap makes sense.

I'd like to think I know what the Kings are doing.

But, I don't. All 2 guard lineup?

Neither do any of the fans. The trade for Mbah a Moute calmed a lot of the fans down and most likely put an end to any Monta Ellis talk.

Agree. Didnt skip to my lou or whatever get signed by an nba team recently. That show waant bad either. Would be cool if they would donsomething like that at rucker park. I had a great time when I went back in the day. Some great bball was played.

Cleveland offered Andrew Bynum 2/24 I believe. He was supposed to meet with Atlanta today as well. I'd take a flier on him for a short contract laden with incentives because if he's healthy he is good. Move Al back to the 4 and have Millsap off the bench. I'd be happy with that front court rotation.

I don't think Alston was signed recently. Dude was a baller in college though.
