I don't like LeBron either. I enjoy hating certain sports figures for extremely superficial reasons.

And not a single one of those reasons is jealousy.

Well said. To me, that's part of the fun of sports: embracing or rejecting these larger-than-life characters in ways and for reasons that would be heinous in the scope of everyday life.

Yeah. I've never liked LeBron either.

I mean one can appreciate his basketball skills and talent and still not like him.

He has excellent vision and awareness on the court, his jumper isn't that great... Jordan seemed like he was always zoned in, during crunch time. I saw Jordan take losses and failure much harder than LeBron.

And I've never seen a basketball player as competitive as Jordan was. That look on his face when he wanted to win a ballgame was insane. I've seen it from LeBron a few times, but with Jordan in the playoffs it was like life or death.

I hated Kareem because I thought the sky hook was a wussy shot, but now I have a lot of respect for the man. Probably not very easy walking around in his body.

My reason for hating on Lebron is simple. He runs away when it gets tough. He jumps from city to city to try and win a title. He is a coward in that aspect. I don't respect that.

Aside from that he's a phenomenal talent on the court.

I just don't enjoy being a hater unless it's absolutely necessary. Jordan is a POS, so I dislike him for that and would root against him today. (Also he gets all this credit for winning with really good teams and LeBron gets bashed for not winning with trash, a team Jordan would not have won anything with).

(a) Jordan was nonetheless a better player.

(b) You a hater all the time to your fellow posters.

Cleveland gonna be in the bonus quickly and that's why they win tonight. Unbelievable people claim the referees don't aid in the determination of a game.

Golden State has been pretty awful tonight. Everyone except for Klay has been invisible on offense. Credit to Cleveland's defense, but Golden State has missed a ton of open looks.
