Other bigs drafted:

Dirk

Yao

Darko

Dwight

Okafor

Bogut

Oden

Blake

Davis

Aldridge

I forgot the Bulls drafted Aldridge. the trade wasy Tyrus Thomas, Kyrapa to Chicago for Aldridge....holy ****.

I stand by my statements. The little I saw of Embid in game action and highlights showed a true center that could play with his back to the basket and be an elite rim protector. People were throwing around Hakeem comps in his freshman season.

Like they do every big man that enters the league, lol

How is Davis not considered a big? This perplexes me.

His comps are Duncan/Garnett. He's listed as a big. He plays in the block on defense. He runs the PnR.

What argument is there that he is a wing player?

I can't think of any.

He only scores off high PnR's.

Davis does not have the same game as those guys. Davis is one of the most unique players to ever play based on his huge growth spike.

How much different are Garnett and Davis?

A lot.

Garnett operated much closer to the basket than Davis does. Garnett also had the playmaking skills of a guard with how he saw the floor.

Davis is an incredible shooter for a man his size and I see his game extending further away from the basket much more than closer to it.

So your argument that he's not the most talented big is that he has too much talent?

Because his big man game is as good as anyone's. Maybe ever.

Yeah sure he's unique. But he's still a 4/5.

Maybe you should change your definition of a big to "tall, lumbering, and can't shoot" if you wanted to only include those type of players in your analysis.
